Systems Management Server 2.0 Administration Feature Pack Is Not Compatible with Systems Management Server 2003
The Administration Feature Pack for Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2.0 is not compatible with SMS 2003. You may receive an error message if you try to use one or more of the Administration Feature Pack tools.
You must remove the SMS 2.0 Administration Feature Pack before you upgrade to SMS 2003. The
SMS 2.0 Administration Feature Pack is binary-incompatible, and SMS 2003 does not supported it. If you use the SMS 2.0
Administration Pack tools (for example the Transfer Site Settings, Manage Site Accounts, and Elevated Rights Tools) on an
SMS 2003 server, unwanted behavior may occur, and you may damage your
SMS 2003 site server.
Microsoft is currently developing an SMS 2003 version
of the Administration Feature Pack.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003
- Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0 Standard Edition

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
