When you use the Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) connector to
download e-mail messages to a Microsoft Windows Small Business Server
2003-based computer, scheduled downloads may not occur.
The
Imbdownl.exe process may use 25, 50, or 100 percent of the CPU resources that
are shown in Task Manager. If you end the Imbdownl.exe process, the scheduled
downloads will occur.
The application log may contain an event that
is similar to the following:

Description: There was an error
logging out from the POP3 server. The error is -2147014858 (An operation was
attempted on something that is not a socket.). All the messages will remain in
the server and its recipients may receive it more than once.
