Spelling error is not flagged by the French Spelling tool in Office XP

SYMPTOMS

When you try to check the spelling in a French-language document in a Microsoft Office XP program, the French spelling tool will not catch a word that contains the text string "ave".

WORKAROUND

There is currently no known workaround or resolution for this problem.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
