The Server icon in the Live Communications Server tool is not updated correctly after the network connection to a computer that is running Live Communications Server 2003 becomes unavailable
After the network connection to a computer that is running Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2003 becomes unavailable, when you view that computer by using the Live Communications Server tool on a different computer, you experience both of the following:
- A question mark character (?) appears on top of the Server icon that represents the computer that is running Live Communications Server.
- The User Services item and the Applications item do not appear under the icon that represents the computer that is running Live Communications Server.
After the network connection to the computer that is running Live Communications Server is restored, when you update the contents of the Live Communications Server tool window, only the icon that represents the computer that is running Live Communications Server is updated. The question mark character does not appear on top of the icon. However, the User Services item and the Applications item still do not appear under the icon that represents the computer that is running Live Communications Server.
To work around this issue, quit and then restart the Live Communications Server tool. When you restart the Live Communications Server tool, the User Services item and the Applications item appear again under the icon that represents the computer that is running Live Communications Server.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
