This article describes the Microsoft Office 2003 issue that is fixed in the Office 2003 Spanish Proofing Tools hotfix package that is dated May 24, 2004.
Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package
The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
- When you try to hyphenate a Spanish word such as inalámbrico, the Office 2003 program may quit unexpectedly, and you receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Microsoft program has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the details of the error message, you receive an error signature that is similar to the following:
