The Created On Last 7 Days column in the Advanced Find dialog box returns all records instead of the records that were created during the last seven days in Microsoft CRM
In Microsoft CRM, the
Created On Last 7 Days column in the Advanced Find dialog box returns all records instead of the records that were created during the last seven days. This problem occurs after you create a custom view in Microsoft CRM, and you use the
Created On column in the
Advanced Find dialog box to filter the information for the last seven days.
This problem also occurs in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2 Sales for Outlook. It also occurs when you create a filter for a report in Microsoft CRM.
Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
904435Â
(http://kbalertz.com/Feedback.aspx?kbNumber=904435/
)
Update Rollup 2 is available for Microsoft CRM 1.2
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Start Microsoft CRM.
- Click Home, click Settings, click System Customization, and then create a new view for the Lead object.
- Add the name of the box and the creation date to the view.
- Enter the filter criteria to filter the Created On column for the Condition In the Last 7 days column.
- Save the view.
- Click Sales, click Leads, and then use the new view. The view pulls all records.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
