"You do not have permission to upload this document" error message when you upload a document to a document library in SharePoint Portal Server 2001
If you are assigned the Coordinator role on the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001 workspace and you upload a document to a document library in the dashboard site by using a Web browser, you may receive the following error message:
You do not have permission to upload this document.
You do not experience these symptoms if you are a member of the local Administrators group or if you connect to the workspace by using Web folders and then upload the document to the document library.
This issue may occur if the Everyone group does not have sufficient permissions to the
Drive:\Winnt\Temp folder.
To work around this issue, assign Read permission and Write permission to the Everyone group for the
Drive:\Winnt\Temp folder.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
