SYMPTOMS

If you are assigned the Coordinator role on the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001 workspace and you upload a document to a document library in the dashboard site by using a Web browser, you may receive the following error message:
You do not have permission to upload this document.
You do not experience these symptoms if you are a member of the local Administrators group or if you connect to the workspace by using Web folders and then upload the document to the document library.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the Everyone group does not have sufficient permissions to the Drive:\Winnt\Temp folder.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, assign Read permission and Write permission to the Everyone group for the Drive:\Winnt\Temp folder.
