You receive a "Compile error in hidden module: ConnectionInfo" error message when you open the Business Activity Monitoring workbook in Excel 2000 or Excel 97

SYMPTOMS

You receive an error message that resembles one of the following when you try to open the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) Excel Workbook (BAM.xls or BAM.xla) in Microsoft Excel 2000 or in Microsoft Excel 97:
Error message 1
"Compile error in hidden module: ConnectionInfo"
Error message 2
The exception unknown software exception (0xc000005) occurred in the application.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the BAM workbook is designed to work in Microsoft Excel 2002 or later.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, open the BAM workbook in Excel 2002 or later.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
