The Microsoft Enterprise Single Server Sign-On component is not removed when you remove BizTalk Server 2004
After you remove Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 from your computer, you may notice that Microsoft Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) system still appears in the list of currently installed programs in Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
This behavior occurs because the Enterprise SSO system is not removed when you remove BizTalk Server 2004 from the computer. The Enterprise SSO system is a shared component and may be used by other programs other than BizTalk Server 2004.
To resolve this behavior if no other programs are installed that use the Enterprise SSO system, follow these steps:
- Remove BizTalk Server 2004.
- In Control Panel, click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
- Remove the Enterprise SSO system from the computer.
This behavior is by design.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
