Query data is not updated after you change from archived data to live data in the Health and Activity Tracking tool in BizTalk Server 2004
When you change the preferences in the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) tool from archived data to live data, the data is not updated in the HAT tool after you run a query.
You may notice that the results from the previous query are still displayed.
This issue may also occur when you switch from live data to archived data.
This issue may occur when you perform the following actions:
- In the Preferences dialog box of the HAT tool, you choose to view archived data.
- You run a query, and then you view the results.
- In the Preferences dialog box of the HAT tool, you choose to view live data.
- You run the same query, and then you view the results.
Note This issue may also occur when you choose to view live data, and then you choose to view archived data.
To work around this issue, on the
File menu in the HAT tool, click
Refresh to update the HAT tool after you run the archived data query.
When you update the HAT tool, the correct preferences for the query are used. The correct data is displayed.
Note Always update data by using the
Refresh command in the HAT tool after you do either of the following:
- You change your preferences from archived data to live data.
- You change your preferences from live data to archived data.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
