Stop error code 0x000000D1 when Windows Server 2003 is under a heavy network load
Your Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer may intermittently stop responding (hang), and you may receive a "STOP D1 (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)" error message on a blue screen that is similar to the following:
***STOP 0x000000D1 (parameter1 , parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
Tcipip.sys
This problem may occur during a period of high network use. The problem is most likely to occur on a Windows Server 2003-based computer that uses two or more processors or that uses a single processor with hyperthreading enabled. The problem occurs because, during the fast retransmit of a segment, the segment has already been acknowledged with a TCP acknowledgment (ACK).
To resolve this problem, download and install the hotfix that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
