FIX: Recovery of a lost database connection causes many messages to be put in the BizTalkServerIsolatedHostQ table of the BizTalkMsgBoxDb database

On This Page

SYMPTOMS

After a Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 server recovers from a lost database connection, many messages are put in the BizTalkServerIsolatedHostQ table of the BizTalkMsgBoxDb database. The messages are suspended, but the suspension operation fails and you receive a 0x80070715 error message:

The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because response messages are routed to hosts that did not submit messages after the server came back online. By design, this behavior occurs and is expected in a failure condition. Therefore, no record of the messages is found and the messages are suspended

RESOLUTION
