SUMMARY
Microsoft CRM e-mail messages sent through the Microsoft Business Solutions CRM Sales for Outlook client does not appear in the Sent Items folder in Microsoft Outlook after the e-mail message is sent.
MORE INFORMATION
The Exchange profile of the Microsoft Outlook user is not used during the send e-mail message process.
To send an e-mail message, Microsoft CRM uses the Microsoft CRM Exchange E-mail Router and SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) service to send the e-mail message. The message will not be stored in the Sent Items folder in Microsoft Outlook, as the Exchange profile of the user is not used.
To track e-mail messages sent from within the Microsoft CRM Web application or the Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook client, you can use the Activities view within Workplace. When an e-mail message is sent within Microsoft CRM, a corresponding activity is created for the sent e-mail message. E-mail activities are tracked in the Closed Activities view.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
