After you install the Microsoft Internet Explorer security
release from 870669, when you work with Document Tracking and Administration
(DTA) in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002, you may receive the following run-time
error message and may not be able to access and run DTA reports through the
user interface:
Line: 87 Error: ActiveX component can't
create object: 'ADODB.Stream'
In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000,
the
View Interchange Details window or the
View Document Details window opens successfully, but the window is empty.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

- Extract the compressed file to a temporary location
on your drive.
- Make a backup copy of the included files, and then copy the
hotfix files to the following folders:
- Move the DTAInstall.cab file to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server\BizTalkTracking\Cabs folder.
- Move the following files to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server\BizTalkTracking folder:

- At a command prompt, run the following command:
iisreset
