You receive a warning message in Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) that you must install Commerce Server 2002 Service Pack 3 after you install Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1
If you install Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1
and then you run Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA), you may receive a
warning message that indicates that you must install Commerce Server 2002 Service Pack 3 (SP3)
This behavior occurs because MBSA does not detect feature pack baseline
installations.
If you have installed Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1, you can ignore this warning message. You do not have to install Commerce Server 2002 SP3 if Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1 is already installed. Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1 includes the incremental fixes that are in Commerce Server Service Pack 2 (SP2) and later versions.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Service Pack 1
- Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 1.2
Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
