The focus returns to the top of the navigation tree when you click a node to view data for any dynamic view in the Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Operator console
When you click a node to view data for any dynamic view in the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Operator console, the focus returns to the top of the navigation tree. For example, you may experience the following behavior:
- You click the Performance button on the Navigation pane.
- Expand Microsoft Operations Manager in the navigation tree.
- Click an item in the Results pane, and then click Select Counters.
The focus in the navigation tree returns to the top of the tree. If you want to view different data from the folder, you must scroll down the tree to find the node again. In this example, the folder is Microsoft Operations Manager.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
To work around this problem, click
Back on the toolbar. Using the
Back button returns the navigation tree to the previous view.
Dynamic views
are views that are not defined in the MOM 2005 database. Performance views are just one example of a
dynamic view.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
