You may not be able to post a message to a public folder in Entourage 2004 for Mac

SYMPTOMS

You may not be able to post a message to a public folder in Entourage 2004 for Mac. When you try to post a message to a Microsoft Exchange Server public folder, the Send Now button may not be available.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when the public folder does not have a valid Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) address.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, contact the owner of the public folder, and then request that they assign a valid SMTP address to the public folder.
