SYMPTOMS

After you install the hotfix that is documented in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article, a problem occurs:

Authors who are members of the Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 Users group can modify a page. However, the HTML placeholder control displays a red "X" instead of the control and the content. Additionally, you cannot see the Author toolbar.

Users who are members of the Content Management Server 2002 Administrators group do not have this problem.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information
