The MOM Exchange Management Pack Configuration Wizard may stop responding after you turn on the Message Tracking option

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM), if you turn on the Message Tracking option in the Exchange Management Pack Configuration Wizard, the wizard may stop responding when the settings are applied.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the hotfix that is referenced in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article on the computer where the Exchange Management Pack Configuration Wizard is running:
835763  (http://kbalertz.com/Feedback.aspx?kbNumber=835763/ ) IADs::Put/PutEx or IADsPropertyList::PutPropertyItem calls may not accumulate

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
