The Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site does not correctly function if it coexists with MSIB on the same computer
The Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site is a production
quality site. The Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site can help advance development for Commerce Server 2002 by using Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1.
Microsoft developed the Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site as an option to use instead of the Microsoft Solution for Internet Business (MSIB) solution site. Microsoft also developed the Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site for deployments that do not require Microsoft Content
Management Server.
The Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site can coexist with MSIB on the same computer. However, if the CS2002StarterSite project is opened in Visual Studio .NET on a computer that has MSIB installed, the following 3 reference paths must be changed to point to the local bin directory of the CS2002StarterSite project.
- Microsoft.Solutions.AccountManagement.dll
- Microsoft.Solutions.Search.dll
- Microsoft.Solutions.Shared.dll

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
