When you try to configure Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 to receive RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) 1.1 document interchange messages or binary messages by using Microsoft Message Queuing receive functions, you are not successful. In this scenario, the following event is logged in the Application log on the computer that is running BizTalk Server:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: BizTalk Server
Event Category: Document Processing
Event ID: 324
Date: Date
Time: Time
User: N/A
Computer: ComputerName

[0x1730] Suspended Queue ID: "{76FF7E45-8169-40CF-A3B6-2D085482E7E2}"

[0x1435] There is no data that can be parsed on the dictionary. Verify that either the "working_data" field or the "file_path" field contains nonempty data.

The interchange data appears correctly if you do the following:
  • You perform the same document interchange by programmatically calling the submit operation by using Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript).
  • You view the interchange data in a debugger.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because, under certain conditions, the BizTalk Server Parser for RosettaNet incorrectly treats the document as ANSI instead of Unicode.
