When Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 sends a 997 functional acknowledgement receipt after the processing of X12 data, you may notice that the order of the control numbers in the 997 functional acknowledgement is different from the order that the control numbers appear in the incoming document. This behavior is incorrect. The X12 specification states that the 997 functional acknowledgement document type must have the control numbers in the same order as they appear in the incoming document.
