On This Page

SYMPTOMS

You use the Web Server Certificate Wizard in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 to create a Web server certificate on a computer that is running the Korean version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you do this, the country abbreviation for Serbia and Montenegro appears in Korean.

If you click to select this country, the Web server certificate is not created as you expected.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the country abbreviation is incorrectly localized in the Korean version of Windows Server 2003.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
