You cannot create a slide show in the Photostory Lite feature in Digital Image Suite 9 by using more than 150 pictures or by using more than one audio track

SYMPTOMS

You cannot create a slide show in the Photostory Lite feature in Microsoft Digital Image Suite 9 by using more than 150 pictures or by using more than one audio track.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a limitation of 150 pictures and one audio track per story in the Photostory Lite feature.

RESOLUTION

This problem has no resolution because it is a limitation of the Photostory Lite feature.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, import the Photostory files into Microsoft Windows Movie Maker. To do this, follow these steps.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Create multiple slide shows in the Photostory Lite feature by using a maximum of 150 pictures per Photostory file.
  2. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Movie Maker.
  3. On the File menu, click Import into Collections.
  4. In the Look in list, locate and then double-click the Photostory file.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all the Photostory files.
  6. Drag each Photostory file to the Storyboard in Windows Movie Maker in the order that you want.
  7. On the File menu, click Save Project.
  8. In the Save in list, locate where you want to save the project, type the project name in the File name box, and then click Save.
  9. On the File menu, click Save Movie File.
  10. Follow the steps in the Save Movie Wizard to save the movie.
  11. Play the movie, and then verify that the movie contains all the pictures that you want.
You can also add multiple audio tracks in Windows Movie Maker. To add multiple audio tracks in a Photostory file, combine or merge the audio files that you want into a single audio file. To do this, use a third-party software program that can combine audio files and save the combined audio files in one new audio file. You can then use this new audio file for the background music in your movie.

Note Type combine audio files in the Search field of your favorite Internet search engine, and then click Search. From the search results, select a software program that is to your liking.
