Issue that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- No user names are returned in the search results when you create a search scope for the People content source and use the search scope to search the portal site
Consider the following scenario. You create a search scope for the People content source, and then perform a full update of the People content source. When you use the search scope to search the portal site for users, no search results are returned. That is, no user names appear in the search results.
