SYMPTOMS

When you use a custom receive pipeline to validate a document structure in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, an error message that is similar to the following may be logged in the Event Viewer of the Administration Console:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: BizTalk Server 2004
Event Category: BizTalk Server 2004
Event ID: 5719
Description: There was a failure executing the receive pipeline: "Pipeline.ReceivePipeline" Source: "XML disassembler" Receive Location: "Path\*.xml" Reason: Failed to validate the document: "The SchemaName element is not declared. An error occurred at , (1, 2).".
Note In this error message, Pipeline is the name of the receive pipeline, Path is a file path, and SchemaName is the schema name.

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • The receive pipeline uses the XML Disassembler pipeline component.
  • The Document schemas property of the XML Disassembler pipeline component contains XML schemas that do not have unique namespaces.
