PowerPoint design template. Then, you apply this design template to a slide. In
this scenario, the design features in the design template are not applied to
the slide. To resolve this issue, paste the design template into the
slide master. To do this, follow these steps: In
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007- Open the design template that you created. Make sure that
you are viewing the slide that contains the design features that you
added.
- On the Home tab, click
Select in the Editing group, and then click
Select All.
- On the Home tab, click
Copy in the Clipboard group.
- Click the View tab, and
then click Slide Master
in the Presentation Views group.
- Click the Home tab,
and then click Paste
in the Clipboard group.
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, and
then click Save.
In
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 and in earlier versions of PowerPoint- Open the design template that you created. Make sure that
you are viewing the slide that contains the design features that you
added.

All.
- On the Edit menu, click
Copy.
- On the View menu, click
Normal.
- On the View menu, point to
Master, and then click Slide
Master.
- On the Edit menu, click
Paste.
- On the File menu, click
Save.
If the design template contains a background picture, save the
background picture as a picture. Then, add the picture to the slide master as a
background picture. To add a background picture to the slide master, follow
these steps: In
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007- On the View tab, click Slide
Master in the Presentation Views group.
- On the Slide Master tab, click
Background Styles in the Background group,
and then click Format Background.
- In the Format Background dialog box, click
Picture or texture fill.
- In the Insert from: section, click
File, locate the picture that you want to use as a background,
and then click Insert.
- Click Apply to All to apply the background
image to all slides.
- Click Close.
In
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 and in earlier versions of PowerPoint- On the View menu, point to
Master, and then click Slide
Master.
- On the Insert menu, point to
Picture, and then click From File.
- Click the picture that you want to add, and then click
OK.
- Right-click the picture, point to Order,
and then click Send to back.
By default, when you create a design template, PowerPoint
saves the design template in the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates Note In this folder path, Username is the
logon name of the user. After you quit and restart PowerPoint, the new
design template is available in the Slide Design task pane.
The design templates are listed in alphabetical order under Available

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
