INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Microsoft Office XP issue that is fixed in the Office 2002 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package that is dated September 6, 2005.

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package:
  • 905863  (http://kbalertz.com/Feedback.aspx?kbNumber=905863/ ) The Private Bytes counter in Performance Monitor may continually increase when an ActiveX control is updated in an Office XP document

  • The optimized version and the full-file version of this hotfix is a post-Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) hotfix. To install the hotfix, you must have Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed.
