Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003. SharePoint Portal Server 2003 SP2 contains security enhancements, stability improvements, and performance improvements. Some of the fixes that are included with SharePoint Portal Server 2003 SP2 were previously released in SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or in separate updates. SharePoint Portal Server 2003 SP2 combines the previously released fixes into one update.

Unable to connect to database. Check database connection information and make sure the database server is running.
When you try to search for German language composite words, no words are found.
Subscription and alert notifications are not sent for a deleted virtual server in SharePoint Portal Server 2003If Windows SharePoint Services has been removed from an extended virtual server, such as in SharePoint Central Administration, subscription and alert notifications are not sent by using an e-mail message in SharePoint Portal Server 2003.
