Description of the types of data that are supported by Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 when you use the Clipboard to copy data
You can use the Clipboard to copy the following types of data from a guest operating system to a host operating system in Microsoft Virtual PC 2004:
- Text (CF_TEXT)
- Bitmap (CF_BITMAP)
- Unicode Text (CF_UNICODETEXT)
If you use the Clipboard to transfer other types of data, you may receive an error message. This problem occurs if Virtual Machine Additions is running on a virtual machine. If you uninstall Virtual Machine Additions, this problem does not occur.
