You cannot publish a Web site in FrontPage 2003 after you install Norton Internet Security
Consider the following scenario. You install Norton Internet Security. Then, you try to publish a Web site in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003. In this scenario, you may receive the following error message:
Web server may not have server extensions installed. Web server may be
temporarily out of service. If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy
settings may be incorrect or an error may have incurred in the web server.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Add FrontPage 2003 to the list of programs in Norton Internet Security. When you do this, the firewall will not block FrontPage 2003 from running on the computer. For more information about how to perform this task, visit the following Symantec Web site:

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
