Error message when you run the Configuration Wizard in BizTalk Server 2004: "Failed to enable the Single Sign-On (SSO) service"
When you run the Configuration Wizard in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Failed to enable the Single Sign-On (SSO) Service (error code 0X800706BA).
Return Code: 4
Additionally, when you try to deploy or undeploy an orchestration in BizTalk Server 2004, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
The RPC server is unavailable
This issue may occur if the Aventail Connect virtual private network (VPN) application is installed on the computer.
To resolve this issue, restart the computer in Safe Mode. Then, uninstall Aventail Connect from the computer.
Note To restart the computer in Safe Mode, press the F8 key during the restart process, and then select the Safe Mode startup option.
