The Remote Administration (HTML) tool is unavailable in IIS 6.0 on computers that are running the 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003
The Remote Administration (HTML) tool is unavailable in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 on computers that are running the 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows Server 2003. This tool is not included in the 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003.
When you install the World Wide Web Publishing Service service in IIS 6.0 on a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003, the Remote Administration (HTML) tool does not appear in the list of available subcomponents.
You can use the following options to remotely manage the server.
IIS Manager
You can use IIS Manager on a local server to connect to and to administer a remote intranet server that is running IIS 6.0, IIS 5.1, or IIS 5.0.
Note Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 and IIS 3.0 are not supported.
Terminal Services
You can use Terminal Services on a local computer to connect to and to administer a remote intranet server that is running IIS. The remote intranet server must have IIS Manager installed. You do not have to install IIS Manager on the local computer. After you have
connected to the remote intranet server that is running IIS, you use IIS Manager on the remote intranet server as if you were locally logged on to the server.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
