Article ID: 913669 - Last Review: December 13, 2007 - Revision: 2.3 FIX: The Base EDI adapter reads only the first AK2 segment in the 997 functional acknowledgement in BizTalk Server 2004 or in BizTalk Server 2006Consider the following scenario:
- In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 or in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you use the Base EDI
adapter to send multiple Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) 810 Invoice
documents to an EDI recipient.
- The EDI recipient sends one 997 functional
acknowledgement.
- The 997 functional acknowledgement contains responses to
the multiple EDI 810 Invoice documents.
In this scenario, the Base EDI adapter reads only the first AK2
segment in the 997 functional acknowledgement. Therefore, only the first EDI
810 Invoice document is updated in the EDI report. BizTalk Server 2004To resolve this problem in BizTalk Server 2004, install BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2). BizTalk Server 2006Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
