Error message when you use the BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite to manage a connection to an SAP system: "The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port 'sap://<ipaddress>'"
In Microsoft BizTalk Server, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following in the event log when you use the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite to manage a connection to an SAP system:
The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port "sap://ipaddress". It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port.
Details: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Note In this error message,
ipaddress is the IP address of the send port.
This behavior occurs when you set the
ConnectionType property to REUSEOPENCONNECTION..
This behavior occurs if there are multiple instances of the send host.
This behavior is by design.
The BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite adapter uses the
SAPConnection property in the SAP .NET Connector to manage a connection to an SAP system. When you use multiple instances of the send host, you receive the error message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
