Error message when you convert a quote in Accounting Professional 2007, in Accounting Express 2007, or in Small Business Accounting 2006: "Cannot convert a quote containing a job to a sales order"
If one or more of the followings conditions are true, you cannot create a sales order from an existing quote in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007, in Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007, or in Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006:
- The Convert to Sales Order option is unavailable from the Convert to menu in the Quote dialog box.
- The quote does not appear in the Select a Quote dialog box when you click Create from in the Sales Order dialog box.
Additionally, when you try to create a sales order from an existing quote in Accounting Professional 2007 or in Accounting Express 2007, you receive the following error message:
Cannot convert a quote containing a job to a sales order.
This issue occurs because a job is associated with the quote.
To work around this issue, remove the job from the quote.
Alternatively, you can convert the quote to an invoice.
This behavior is by design.

didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
