The Selection tool does not work in Streets and Trips
When you try to use the Selection tool in Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 with GPS Locator or in Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008, you cannot use the Selection tool.
This issue occurs because the Selection tool is disabled when the GPS receiver is enabled.
To work around this issue, use the PAN tool and the Zoom tool instead of the Selection tool to select a specific
area in the map.
The Pan tool
- On the Navigation toolbar, click Pan.
The pointing device changes to the Pan tool and appears as a hand when you float it over
the map. - Drag the hand in the direction that you want to shift the map.
- To stop moving the map, release the button on the pointing device.
The Zoom tool
When you zoom in or out, you see different map views based on altitude. Zooming
out increases the altitude and therefore brings more map area with less map detail
into view. Zooming in decreases altitude and therefore brings less map area but
more map detail into view.
For more information about these tools, see Streets and Trips Help.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
