This article describes the Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 issue that is fixed in the Content Management Server 2002 post-Service Pack 2 hotfix package that is dated May 19, 2006.

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article. After an author deletes a page that is stored on a large Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2001 database, other authors may receive authoring error messages when they perform any authoring action. The error messages may resemble the following:

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
