PowerPoint 2004 for Mac crashes and your presentation is lost when you save a corrupted PowerPoint 2004 for Mac presentation

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft PowerPoint 2004 for Mac to open a corrupted PowerPoint 2004 for Mac presentation, and then try to save the presentation, PowerPoint 2004 for Mac crashes. Additionally, the original file is lost.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and then install the latest update for Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
