FIX: You may receive a "Fatal error C1902" error message and a solution build may fail when you try to use the AT command or a scheduled task to automate a build of a C or C++ project in Visual Studio 2005

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the AT command or a scheduled task to automate a build of a C or C++ project in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, the solution build may fail, and you may receive the following error message:
Fatal Error C1902: Program database manager mismatch; please check your installation.
Note You run the build command under the Local System Account.

RESOLUTION



A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
