A synchronization time value that is set in the Web client of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 overwrites a synchronization time value that is set in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Office Outlook

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • A user sets the Synchronize the CRM items in my Outlook folders every option in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook.
  • An administrator changes the value of the Set minimum time between scheduled synchronizations option in the Web client of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
  • The synchronization time value that the administrator sets is larger than the synchronization time value that the user sets.
In this scenario, the synchronization time value that is set in the Web client of Microsoft Dynamics CRM overwrites the synchronization time value that is set in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Outlook.

RESOLUTION
