A synchronization time value that is set in the Web client of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 overwrites a synchronization time value that is set in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Office Outlook
The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Consider the following scenario:
- A user sets the Synchronize the CRM items in my Outlook folders every option in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook.
- An administrator changes the value of the Set minimum time between scheduled synchronizations option in the Web client of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
- The synchronization time value that the administrator sets is larger than the synchronization time value that the user sets.
In this scenario, the synchronization time value that is set in the Web client of Microsoft Dynamics CRM overwrites the synchronization time value that is set in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Outlook.
This problem is fixed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 1. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
