You cannot configure the BizTalk host instance to use a Windows group name that exceeds 63 characters in BizTalk Server 2006 and in BizTalk Server 2004
In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 and in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, you cannot configure the BizTalk host instance to use a Windows group name that exceeds 63 characters. This issue also occurs when you use Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to set the
MSBTS_HostInstanceSetting.NTGroupName property.
This issue occurs because the maximum length of the
MSBTS_HostInstanceSetting.NTGroupName property is 63 characters.
This issue is scheduled to be fixed in BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
Note After you install BizTalk Server 2004 SP2, you can configure the BizTalk Host to use a domain and group name that contains a maximum of 120 characters.
To work around this issue, modify the Windows group name so the total number of characters in the domain name and the group name does not exceed 63 characters.
For more information about the WMI
MSBTS_HostInstanceSetting.NTGroupName property, see the Microsoft BizTalk Server Help documentation.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
