New and updated features

After you install Project 2003 Service Pack 3, you can use Project 2003 to open Project 2007 files that are not protected by a password. When you open a Project 2007 file in Project 2003 Service Pack 3, the Help task pane opens to notify you that the Project 2007 file cannot be edited in Project 2003.

Removal information

You cannot remove this download by using Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. To remove Project 2003 Service Pack 3 from the computer, you must remove Project 2003 and then reinstall Project 2003 from the original Project 2003 CD.

Features for reinstalling specific components for administrators

If you update your administrative installation point, and you recache and reinstall Project 2003 on client computers, you can run a command line that includes the REINSTALL=[list of features] property. This property specifies whether you want to reinstall specific components of Project 2003 from the administrative image.
