When you create a relationship between two categories in Microsoft Commerce Server 2002, the relationship is not exported in the incremental mode. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- One of the categories has a relationship to another category that has a smaller object identifier (also known as OID).
- The category that has the smaller object identifier was not modified on the start date of the incremental export.
For example, consider the following scenario. You have five categories. The object identifiers of these categories are as follows:
On the first day, you create a relationship between the oid3 category and the oid2 category. On the second day, you create a new relationship between the oid3 category and the oid5 category. In this scenario, the new relationship is not exported in the incremental mode in the XML file.
