In Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, you may have used the Mail button to read mail, to send a link in an e-mail message, or to send a Web page in an e-mail message.

Steps to resolve the problem

To resolve this problem, use any of the following methods.

Method 1: Add the Read Mail button to the toolbar

You can use the Read Mail button to open your e-mail program. In the e-mail program, you can create a new e-mail message.

Method 2: Use the "Send a Link" feature

You can use the "Send a Link" feature to send a link to the current Web page in an e-mail message.
  1. Start Internet Explorer 7.
  2. On the toolbar, click Page, and then click Send Link by Email.

Method 3: Use the "Send a Page by E-mail" feature

You can use the "Send a Page by E-mail" feature to insert the current Web page into an e-mail message.
