SYMPTOMS

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:

  • Some files in the following folder were deleted, removed, or renamed:
    C:\Windows\Installer

  2. In the Currently installed programs list, click the earlier version of Office, and then click Remove.
  3. Follow the prompts to remove the earlier version of Office.
  4. Repair the 2007 Office program installation. To do this, follow these steps:

Hi, I'm having the same error message, but my problem is, I don't have any office installed on my laptop yet. I checked the registry/ installed programs, no sign of office installed. Thanks in advance.
