The subform appears to be blank after you close a Filter by Form view without applying the filter in Access 2007
When you close a form in Microsoft Office Access 2007, the subform appears to be blank.
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You apply the Filter by Form view to a form that contains a subform.
- You select a filter value for a control in the subform, and then you close the Filter by Form view without applying the filter.
This problem occurs because the filter is applied to the form when the Filter by Form view is closed. This occurs even when you do not apply the filter. When this occurs, the Status bar does not indicate that the filter has been applied to the form.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
