SYMPTOMS

On a Windows CE 5.0-based device, you run an application that performs the write operation on a file that is located inside a folder. Meanwhile, you frequently switch to other folders in the Explorer shell. In this case, the Explorer shell stops refreshing attributes of the file. For example, when you switch back to the previous folder, the Explorer shell does not update the Size attribute and the Date modified attribute of the file. Additionally, the Explorer shell process consumes high CPU usage.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because a function enters into an infinite loop in the ceshell module.
