The window that launches a File Download dialog box unexpectedly closes when you try to download a file by using Internet Explorer in Windows XP Service Pack 2
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- The computer is running Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2).
- The content that you are trying to download contains a frame.
- The content that you are trying to download uses the "content-disposition: attachment" HTTP header.
- The MIME type of the content that you are trying to download is "text/plain".

- Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
