When you open an Excel 2007 workbook by using Excel Web Access, you are presented with a Security Information dialog box
When you first try to view a Microsoft Office Excel 2007 workbook by using Microsoft Office Excel Web Access, you are presented with a
Security Information dialog box that says the following:
This page contains both secure and non-secure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 to view the workbook. Additionally, you use Excel Web Access over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection.
- The Ewrempty.htm file is not cached on the client computer.
To work around this problem, follow these steps:
- Click No in the Security Information dialog box.
- Refresh the page that you are trying to view without clearing the cache. To do this, press the F5 key.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Office Excel 2007
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0

Community Feedback System
Very often, it takes hours to solve a problem. Very often, you've looked high
and low, and have tried a lot of solutions. When you finally found it, chances
are, it was because someone else helped you. Here's your chance to give back.
Use our community feedback tool to let others know what worked for you and what
didn't.
Please also understand that the community feedback system is not warranted to be
correct, it's simply a system that we've built to let people try and help each
other. If something in a feedback response doesn't make sense to you, or you're
not comfortable making changes that the feedback talks about (like registry
edits), please consult a professional.
Thank you for using kbAlertz.com Feedback System.
